Media Teachers Make a Difference!
Bay City Public Schools is very fortunate to have Media teachers across all of our K-5 buildings. They manage the robust library collections in our buildings and teach the METS* and ISTE* standards to all of our K-5 students.
Our Media teachers are also very cutting edge when it comes to technology integration with many of them introducing activities that involve coding, computer science, Maker Spaces, and gamification to name a few. Many of our Media teachers have also created websites to blend their instruction so that students and parents may access the content from home. They often share and model their ideas for other like-minded educators across the region at the quarterly REMC 6 held at the Bay Arenac ISD.
